In vintage Carolyne Roehme
Here we go again. It was once again the famous dinner hosted by Vanity Fair magazine for the opening of the New York Film Festival. I had such a hard time finding something to wear till my friend who owns Frock vintage clothing store in New York sent me a bunch of dresses and lo and behold this gem was in it. A vintage Carolyne Roehme! Just gorgeous and so timely with all the floral spring fashions that are every where. But the problem was i thought it needed a belt … but a white belt. After frantic calls to all my stylist friends of where to buy one I had no luck and my dear friend Rebecca at Fred Leighton Jewels came with the idea that maybe I should have it made … but where in such a short notice of 48 hours…and she said the magical 2 words … Art Bag! who are famous for repairing all the vintage It bags. We called and they delivered…. Only in New York! Of course, to top it this ensemble was a yummy major Fred Leighton broach and you thought these were just dinner parties!

Wearing IMAN LUXURY LIPSTICK IN IMAN RED
VANITY FAIR/TRIBECCA FILM FESTIVAL PARTY We attended the annual Vanity Fair/Tribecca Film Festival party to start the Tribecca Festival in New York. As always it was really lots of fun and opted to wear a beautiful emerald green Bluemarine dress and red lipstick! I am usually rather shy on wearing red lipstick but i think i will wear it more often as everyone complemented how great it looked on me. What do you think?

VANITY FAIR/ TRIBECA FILM FESTIVAL TRIBECA Film Festival celebrated the festival’s 4th year by hosting the famous Vanity Fair dinner at Church Street. Actors/actresses, musicians, directors, models, moguls, politicians and all sorts attend this fabulous event as it celebrated the opening of the festival and reminding people what a national treasure actor Robert De Niro is for New Yorkers as he is the founder of the festival and a true believer of the greatness of our beloved city. From all the movies showcased at the festival my favorite was Mad Hot Ballroom, which is a documentary about public school students competing in a city wide ballroom dancing! Check it out if you haven’t seen as it is truly irresistible.
